탄성 임플란트 개발을 위한 유한요소 해석
The soft tissue called periodontal ligament exists between the natural tooth and the alveolar bone in the natural tooth. The periodontal ligament makes the occulusion force distributed over the ligament and moderates stress concentration. Because the periodontal ligament is removed together with removal of the natural teeth when the tooth implant is inserted, and the shock absorbtion and force distribution fo the ligament are lost. As a result, stress concentration occurs in the interface of the implant and then fatigue fracture may follow. This study suggests an elastic implant that is able to compensate the loss of the shock absorbtion and force distribution. The deformation of the new elastic implant is compred with the conventional implant, using the finite element analysis.
