등받이 각도에 따른 고령자의 고관절 내전·외전 운동시 근활성도 분석
Due to rapid aging, the number of elderly patients with weakened gait function are increasing due to muscle weakness and musculoskeletal disorders. Hip adductor and abductor muscles are essential for generating body motions, as well as for maintaining balance of the body and preventing falls. To develop a rehabilitation training system, the purpose of this study was to compare the effects of seat backrest angles on muscular activity in hip adductor and abductor of the elderly and young people. Five persons in young people and elderly people were subjected to hip adductor and abductor movements. In this experiment, EMG(Electromyography) measurement was repeated after three times of adduction and abduction of the hip joint. The usability of backrests was evaluated in terms of comfort and satisfaction depending on the angle of the backrests using a questionnaire during the break between exercises. The adductor magnus and adductor longus were measured during adductor exercises, and tensor fasciae latae and satorius were measured during abductor movements. The results will analyze by muscle activation(%MVC). The results of this may be used as tilting ranges of the backrest angles suitable for exercises in the future development of the rehabilitation training system for lower extremities.
