고속 선박엔진에서의 플라즈마 버너 운전
Internal combustion engines used in automobiles and ships have been used for a long time. Sulfur
oxides and nitrogen oxides through the exhaust gases of internal combustion engines are typical
pollutants. Currently, environmental pollution problems have become serious, and regulations on
pollutants are constantly being tightened. Regulations have also been tightened in the ship following
the automobile, and the installation of facilities for the treatment of exhaust gas has been required. In
this study, basic research for the treatment of nitrogen oxides was carried out. Selective catalytic
reduction for nitrogen oxide treatment requires temperatures above 300 degrees Celsius. However, the
exhaust temperature of the marine engine is insufficient. Therefore, an experiment was performed to
increase the temperature of the exhaust gas by using a plasma burner.
