고온 축열 물질의 열물성 평가

Heat storage materials play a major role in increasing the thermal efficiency of heat storage systems. Molten salts are highly effective in storing thermal energy and have a high energy storage density. Carbonate salts, amongst others, are stable at higher temperature than the commercial solar salt. The thermal properties are evaluated for a novel molten salt, which has the lower melting point than other carbonate salts. As a result of melting point measurement using DSC, it has been found that the melting point of the novel carbonate salt is remarkably lower than the melting point of the carbonate salt.
