레이저 가속 플라이어의 속도 측정 및 가공성능 평가
High-speed processing using intensive pulsed laser energy is suitable for processing hard-to-form materials and fabricating microscale features on micro products. In this study, a laser-induced acceleration system based on laser plasma expansion was established using a 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser. Velocity characteristics and forming performance of the flyers were investigated through microscale embossing experiments. The variation of flyer velocity with flyer thickness and laser energy level was evaluated. The process capability was also studied by measuring the embossed height of workpieces.
