차량용 기계전기식 브레이크 HILS 시험 구성

Electro mechanical brake systems have many advantages over conventional hydraulic brake systems in terms of weight savings, simple structural advantages, and advantages of electronic control. In the situation that the target vehicle to which the developed hardware is applied does not exist, A HILS system could be a good way to develop the EMB for saving the development time and cost. In this paper, we propose a method of constructing HILS for the development of electro mechanical brake, and show the process of performance evaluation of electro mechanical brake using it. The developed HILS is a system that can measure the braking force of the brakes to predict the displacement and speed of the vehicle and the angle of the four wheels. The developed HILS consists of the EMB controller, the driver's braking will detection device, the vehicle model, and the EMB status monitoring sensor. If the braking force is provided by the EMB, It is measured in a braking force sensing jig using a load cell, and the measured result is provided to the vehicle model as a braking pressure. The vehicle model consists of a brake module model. The reliability of the product was verified, and experiments were conducted on three commercially available EPBs whose performance specifications have already been published.
