최적 댐핑 설계를 통한 공작기계 진동 감소

This paper briefly introduces a practical approach for selecting optimal damping proposed in the prior work by the author. Since increasing horizontal damping could sometimes be detrimental to residual vibration reduction, particularly when the machine’s vibration modes are coupled, analytical approach is used to optimize horizontal damping for minimizing residual vibrations of machine tool.
