심혈관 스텐트의 응력 분포 고찰을 위한 유한요소해석
Cardiovascular stents are widely used to expand narrowed arteries. A finite element analysis-based approach which investigates the stress distribution of the stent is presented. Complex dimensions of the lasercut-type stent are transformed into three-dimensional CAD model. Non-linear elasto-plastic deformation analysis is performed for computing stress distribution of the stent. In this analysis, we used two constitutive models to describe different material behaviors of the stent composed of platform and coating. Results reveal that the stress at the curved area linking with the straight bars is much higher in the coating as well as the platform.
