3D 프린팅 과정 시뮬레이션을 위한 PBF 방식 제작물의 기계적 물성 측정과 해석 적용
This paper aims to present the methodology and results of the empirical characterization of three-dimensional (3D) printed STS630 parts for 3D printing process simulator. Tensile characterization of STAINLESS STEEL 630 3D-printed parts was performed to determine the extent of anisotropy present in 3D-printed materials. Specimens were printed with varying raster ([+45/-45], [+30/-60], [+15/-75], and [0/90]) and build orientations (flat, on-edge, and up-right) to determine the directional properties of the materials. Dog bone tensile specimens were printed and loaded in a universal testing machine to measure strain. The Young’s moduli, yield strength, ultimate strength, strain at failure, breaking strength, and strain energy densities were gathered for each tensile orientation combination. At the same manner, we conduct simulation for a 3D printing process. Simulation result shows that good agreement with the presented empirical approach.
