Selective laser melting으로 제조한 순수 Ti 부품의 표면특성 제어 연구

Commercially pure titanium (CP-Ti) part, particularly in the medical industry, is required to have unique surface properties with specific shape. Recently, the specific CP-Ti part such as bone plate has been tried to fabricate using 3D printing like selective laser melting (SLM). However, the surface properties of 3D printed CP-Ti part by SLM are generally not suitable to directly use for the medical applications. Because, the attached powder during the solidification of contour, and scanning line affected to roughness, in addition the thermal residual stress with tensile characteristics decreased the reliability, obviously. Thus, in this study, to enhance the surface properties of the CP-Ti part fabricated by SLM, we post-treated with the various blasting conditions, then we characterized the effect on surface properties.
