Thermal-CVD를 이용한 Boron-TiO2 코어-쉘 나노 입자 제조에 관한 연구

Boron particles were coated with titanium dioxide (TiO2) by thermal chemical vapor deposition (thermal-CVD). Boron particles were aerosolized by a Collison atomizer and titanium tetraisopropoxide (TTIP) vapor was generated by a bubbler. Then, TTIP vapor was mixed with boron particles in a furnace. TTIP precursor was thermally decomposed and TiO2 layer was formed on boron particles. Coating thickness can be controlled with a range of 3 to13 nm by adjusting bubbler flowmeter and residence time. Coating thickness was checked through the transmission electron microscope (TEM) image analysis. Chemical properties of coated boron particles were analyzed using a Energy-disperse X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and X-ray Photoelectron Spectrometer (XPS).
