ACL 부착위치에 따른 무릎 운동 변화: 시뮬레이션 연구
Reconstruction surgery of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) helps restore knee stability and strength and prevent knee degenerative disease. The ACL reconstruction surgery is influenced by many factors such as ligament attachment position and ligament material properties. Previous studies investigated the effect of ACL attachment location in ACL reconstructed knee on knee position change during static knee angles. However, previous studies did not investigate the behavior of in-vivo ACL force and knee joint movements during walking. In this study, a dynamics model of the knee was developed to analyze the effect of ACL reconstruction attachment location on knee kinematics during walking. A six degrees-of-freedom knee model was developed using the bone geometry and ligament properties provided in a previous study. The ACL attachment location on the tibia was tested at different locations between the anterior-medial attachment location and posterior-lateral attachment location. The anterior translation and internal rotation of ACL surgery knee model were smaller than those of normal knee by 3.1 mm and 1.3 degree, respectively. The reason for the decrease of anterior translation and internal rotation after ligament surgery is that the ACL generate more force than the normal knee due to ligament attachment location changes.
