헬륨 핵융합로 디버터의 노즐-충돌면간 거리에 따른 열적 특성 연구
The development of nuclear fusion reactor is essential for the usage of nuclear fusion energy, which is the advanced energy resources. For this reason, there are many efforts to develop the nuclear fusion reactor in many countries. Among the important parts, divertor is one of the obstacles to develop the nuclear fusion reactors because divertor has roles for maintaining the plasma shape and purity, and withstanding the high heat flux from thermal plasma. In Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), they have developed the multi-array impingement jet cooling for divertor using helium. In this study, we analyzed the thermal performance of helium-cooled divertor with the change of geometry which are the change of the nozzle-to-target distance. We conducted the numerical simulation using commercial code, Fluent v17.2. The parameters of the study are the cartridge diameter included in jet nozzle and cartridge position from tube center toward target surface. The results show that the increase of cartridge diameter decreases the thermal performance, and the increase of cartridge position from tube center increases the thermal performance in the helium-cooled divertor.
