비등열전달 냉각 시스템을 적용한 고분자 전해질막 연료전지의 내부온도분포에 관한 연구
Since performance of Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) performance is rising in recent years, necessity of efficient thermal management system is required. With increasing heat generation rate followed by performance increasement, however, conventional water cooling method is lack of maintaining proper temperature and uniform temperatrue distribution over cells. In this paper we suggest two-phase cooling method using HFE-7100 as a coolant. We observed performance and basic characteristics of two-phase cooling in the single cooling plate and applied this cooling technique to PEMFC stack.We compared the cooling performance of two-phase cooling technique with conventional water cooling technique in single plate and the stack. In result, the two-phase cooling technique outperformed water cooling technique in the temperature distribution with less coolant flow rate.
