터빈 블레이드 내부유로에서 단차에 의한 열전달 향상 연구
Internal cooling passage with rib turbulators is commonly used for cooling of turbine blades. Angled rib turbulators obtain higher heat transfer than orthogonal ribs. However, heat transfer is decreased and distributed non-uniformly in internal passage of high aspect ratio due to a development of thermal boundary layer. Therefore, this study investigated the effect of stepped internal passage with angled ribs on heat transfer to increase heat transfer of internal passage. The numerical simulations were conducted using an internal passage with angled ribs. An aspect ratio of passage was 1 and an attack angle of rib turbulators was 63 deg. The step contributed to re-increase the heat transfer in internal passage by breaking the thermal boundary layer and causing impinging effect of internal flow on the surface of internal passage.
