(Effect of mixture ratio of biodiesel on horizontal spray shape characteristics of pressure swirl nozzle)
This study aims to investigate the characteristics of horizontal spray according to mixture ratio of biodiesel in pressure swirl nozzle. The image was obtained by using a high speed camera to investigate the dynamic behavior characteristics at the nozzle tip. The sol-valve and the high speed camera were synchronized and shot at a speed of 40000frame per second. As the mixture ratio increased, the initial ligament length increased and the frequency of large liquid droplets increased.
