터빈 익렬 대와류모사에 무반사 경계조건이 미치는 영향
Large-eddy simulation (LES) of a high-pressure turbine stator is performed. The compressible, spatially filtered Navier-Stokes equations are solved on the structured grid in conjunction with the usage of the simultaneous approximation term (SAT) to weakly impose the boundary data at the outlet. The use of SAT along with the discretization scheme that has the summation-by-parts (SBP) property is known to offer the provable time stability. While the sponge layer is also added to ensure no artificial wave reflection from the outlet, the synthetic turbulence is generated at the total pressure/temperature inlet. The isentropic Mach number distribution over the blade is compared with the results of the LES with the characteristic boundary conditions (CBC) from Granet et al. and the experimental study of Sieverding et al., and an excellent agreement with the experiment has been obtained.
