CFD 시뮬레이션을 이용한 액화수소 저장용기 copper conductive shield에 관한 연구
Cryogenic Liquid hydrogen evaporates at room temperature. Insulation performance is important to increase the efficiency of storing liquid hydrogen. One of the factors affecting the storage vessel performance is Vapor cooled shied(VCS). In this study, We study the role of Copper conductive shield(CCS) to replace VCS. It is calculated by numerical method with commercial CFD code STAR-CCM+. The heat of penetration into the inner vessel is calculated by changing the position of the copper inside the Multi-layer insulation(MLI) of the liquid hydrogen storage. It is found that there is an optimum location of copper to minimize the penetration heat. CCS transfers heat to the neck of the tank.
