이온풍 전극 배열에 따른 유동 분석 및 열 성능 향상에 관한 연구
In this study, effects of local heat transfer and flow behavior by forced convection using ionic wind were analyzed. Especially, flow characteristics and thermal performances were experimentally confirmed according to various arrangements of multiple electrodes for the ionic wind. The flow behavior of the ionic wind was investigated by a Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), and the temperature was measured by a K-type thermocouple to obtain the convection heat transfer coefficient using the ionic wind. The ionic wind had an influence on the local boundary layer developed on the heated surface by Coulombic force to change the heat transfer rate. If multiple electrodes are used, various flow characteristics and thermal performances according to the arrangement of the electrodes were shown in the boundary layer between the electrodes. As a result, the difference of the heat transfer coefficients of the ionic wind was measured to be 10% by various arrangements of the electrodes and the best performance was obtained by 10mm, 5mm, and 10mm from the ground plate, respectively for three electrodes.
