횡 방향 공동을 이용한 난류 유동박리 제어
백문흠, 최해천(서울대학교)
Fast-swimming sharks are known to bristle their scales during fast swimming to induce embedded cavity vortices between scales. In the present study, we are inspired by the role of shark scales and implement the transverse square grooves to control turbulent separation bubble (TSB) above the flat plate. This TSB is made by a contoured upper wall and steady suction from upper wall. We measure the instantaneous flow field around the TSB using a digital particle image velocimetry (DPIV). The flow characteristics of the TSB without grooves are in good agreement with those of previous studies. With transverse square grooves, a stable cavity vortex is located in the square groove and induces high momentum to the flow near the wall and reduces the TSB
