V 모양 틈새에서 액적의 동적 거동에 관한 모델링
Recently many researches have been conducted to understand dynamic behavior of a droplet in a V shaped groove. Especially, Wu et al. suggested that motion of upper meniscus could be driving force for the droplet motion in the V shaped groove. However, Wu et al. did not explain logically how the motion of upper meniscus make the lower meniscus move. Therefore, this research suggests a model explaining the relationship between the motion of the upper meniscus and the lower meniscus. In addition, a minimum receding contact angle was suggested by the model, so that the droplet moves upward in the V shaped groove. This research gives an insight to understand the dynamic behavior of the droplet in the V shaped groove. Then, the model can be useful to design an appropriate surface to control droplet behavior in the V shape groove.
