1D-CFD 연계 모델을 이용한 냉매 압축기 과열도 예측
The refrigerant temperature inside a conventional compressor was mainly predicted by using the 1D (one-dimensional) lumped model. However, more accurate temperature prediction has been available by the recent introduction of 1D lumped-CFD (Computational fluid dynamics) coupled model. Therefore, in this study, we used the 1D lumped-CFD coupled model to accurately predict the refrigerant superheat of a linear compressor. The results showed that the refrigerant temperature increases through the intake system of the compressor, causing an additional superheat of about 12 °C. Since too much superheat reduces the efficiency of the refrigeration cycle, it should be optimized.
