표면 젖음성에 따른 제상 거동 변화 분석

Defrosting behavior were observed and analyzed with frost layer density on the super-hydrophilic, bare and-super-hydrophobic surface. The defrosting experiments are carried out on a vertical plate and precisely measured the frost layer density and compared the defrosting behavior with respect to the low and high frost layer density on each surface. Experiment results show that the super-hydrophilic and bare surface have similar defrost behavior, while the super-hydrophobic surface was different. The super-hydrophobic surface showed a defrosting behavior in which the frost layer was more easily removed than the other surface due to weak adhesion and the mobility of the jumping droplet. Therefore, the super-hydrophobic surface has advantages for removing the frost layer in the defrosting operatin as well as frosting
