The forced convective boiling heat transfer of R32 in a horizontal small tube
Experiments were conducted to investigate the convective heat transfer of R32, a potential refrigerant when it comes to its efficiency, in a small stainless-steel tube of 1.5 mm inner diameter. The tests were conducted with mass fluxes from 200 to 500 kgm-2s-1, heat fluxes from 10 to 50 kWm-2, and saturation temperature 10 0C. The effect of mass flux, heat flux, and vapor quality on local heat transfer coefficient was analyzed. The comparison of experimental data with existing correlations was performed in this study.
