고체산화물 연료전지의 전해질/전극 계면에서 금속 격자구조의 역할에 관한 연구
To tailor the role of metallic grids at the electrolyte/cathode interface, various metallic grids such as Ag, Ni, and Al which have the high electrical conductivity but different catalytic property were precisely printed with the pitch size of ~50 µm using electrohydrodynamic (EHD) jet printing process. With symmetrical cell configuration, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was conducted to assess the electrochemical behaviors with respect to metallic grids. We could verify that the polarization resistances were substantially reduced in the range of 650-500 °С with the metallic grid structures regardless of metals. In addition, electrochemical analysis, involving the activation energy, careful impedance fitting and tafel analysis, can specifically regulate that the roles of metallic grids on the oxygen reduction reactions can be specified with high connectivity, both high electrical conductivity and catalytic effect of each metal. Our results can provide the in-depth understanding of role of metallic grids on the oxygen reduction reactions at interface and promise of grid structure with various metals for highly performing cathode of intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells.
