얇은 신축성 금속기반 히트파이프 설계 및 제작

In this work, a metal-based thin and flexible heat pipe is design, fabriated, and its thermal performance is evaluated experimentally. The heat pipe has a flat-plate configuration, and is made of copper sheets with thickness of 0.1 mm. The mesh screens are used as the wick structure. The thermal performance of the flat plate heat pipe is shown to be significantly dependent of the wick thickness. The flexibility of the fabricated heat pipe was demonstrated quantitatively, and the heat pipe is shown to have a moderately good thermal performance (effective thermal conductivity amounts to that of pure copper) under the bended condition upto the effective curvature radius of 100 mm.
