Noise reduction method by noise contribution analysis in multi-function dot printer
The multi-function dot printer is printing equipment that wires of a head strike an ink ribbon on a paper. The dot printer always produces noise problems.
The printer's main source of noise is the head, carriage motor, and platen, which are located adjacent to the printer's small interior space. Therefore, in the measurement of each noise source, there are difficulties due to narrow space and adjacent noise sources.
In this paper, we analyze the contribution of the noise generated by the each noise source through the spectrum measurement and propose the noise reduction method based on these analysis.
