엔진 볼트의 나사산 피로 평가
Threaded joints such as bolts have sharp notch shape which create high stress gradients on multi axial stress status. As performance of engine is increased, the external force on threaded joint of the engine is also increased, so there are lots of problems such as the crack on the threads. In this study, high cycle fatigue evaluation procedure for the threaded joint is established by using FEA for the crankcase of the engine component.
