확률밀도함수를 이용한 2차원 유전체 콜리메이터의 광대역 구조최적설계

This paper presents a two-dimensional dielectric collimator design method for wideband in the X-band. A collimator is an electronic device that controls the propagation of an electromagnetic wave by arranging it in a specific direction, and can be used to improve the performance of a detection device using electromagnetic waves. It is required to design a collimator satisfying the required performance level in wideband to overcome its dependence on frequency. The main objective of this study is to obtain an optimal configuration of a 2D collimator over a wide range within the X-band, as an advanced method of optimization for a single frequency. The objective function is defined by mapping the frequency response function to the probability distribution function to control the frequency characteristics directly. The validity of the proposed method is verified by comparing the optimized configuration of our method with that of the conventional one for a single frequency.
