쇼트 피닝 해석을 통한 가압기 노즐의 잔류응력 변화 예측
Nickel-based alloys such as 82/182 which compose typical pressurizer(PZR) nozzles have been widely used in nuclear power plants. However, it is well known that they are sensitive to primary water stress corrosion cracking(PWSCC). Meanwhile weld residual stress(WRS) is one of main factors of the PWSCC and shot peening is one of its mitigation activities, many previous researches with regard to the shot peening based on finite element(FE) analysis could not consider continuous impacting and the interaction with adjacent shots in detail. Therefore, in the present study, smoothed particle hydrodynamics(SPH) model was combined with FE model for realistic simulation. The analysis results were compared with experimental and analysis results obtained from a previous study to establish an optimum simulation procedure. Subsequently, the proposed procedure was expanded to a PZR nozzle to estimate variation of the WRS distribution and key findings on the shot peening were discussed.
